Sunday Morning at CFC-Y Southcoast’s Camp, December 2-4, 2011.

Blessed is such an understatement for this past weekend. Going into any camp of course you’re to feel nervous and excited, but i was scared cause going into NLR i was only going in knowing a few people. But by the end of it i am happy to say that i met and made so many more people who i am happy to call family. I am so in love with the CFCY community, and i love the fact that Norcal was hella welcoming and made me feel like i was back at home. There may be times where i feel so overwhelmed with school and everything else, but i get a peace of mind knowing that i have people here who will always be here for me.
the fact that no matter where i am, wherever there is yfc, there will always be someone there to make you feel at home. i’ve been up here in Norcal for just a mere three days, and already i’ve had people hit me up to join them for their events. maybe its just me, but those are the little things that make my transition into college a whole lot smoother, and make me feel like im at home
this past weekend i had orientation at St. Mary’s. i had my math placement test on Friday and stayed over night Friday for orientation on Saturday and during those two days i think for the first time i felt like i made the right choice with choosing st. Mary’s. Despite the distance, i really feel like that St. Mary’s is the place for me. something that i have been praying for, for quite some time has finally been answered and affirmed. thank you lord. i am most definitely excited to see the next chapter of my life unfold.
